Any idea what this error code means please?

Brand new ECIO_28 plugged into computer with all drivers working and I get the following:

Usually I have to press the button and it finds the device but this time it doesn't. Can ECIO's be reset?

Can you have a quick go at the solution detailed here and see if this helps at all?

Also worth a go is holding the reset button for a second or two before programming. This ensures that any USB communications used by the ECIO during the user program are shut down properly at the PC end, allowing the bootloader USB to fire up correctly.

Can you also make sure your using the latest drivers and programming tool available from here:

It cannot "see" the ECIO and the LED on it keeps rapidly flashing. I just get the following:

ECIO-28 version: 1.1
Ready

Another one I have is working as well and both show up as 28 pin ECIO custom USB devices...

This is driving me mad - I'm on a deadline and I can't use the other one because it is fitted in a case!

Any ideas gratefully received...

It sounds like from what your saying that the ECIO maybe damaged somehow. I'll generate you a returns number via PM so you can return the item to us and we can get a replacement out to you ASAP.
