Hi sysprofessional,
To access those you must purchase a professional licence in addition to chip pack/s
If you have not purchased professional licence then all advance components won't be accessible since you will only have the home version.

When you select Help menu, then About Flowcode, what version does it show?

No sorry.
Since the chip pack and professional versions are two separate products, the profession licence will cost you £220.

Please tell me this is still not true. I had no idea the hobby/student version was "neutered".
I agreed to no commercial use, but I was not clear there was reduced functionality.
How do you folks address this obvious oversight on the part of your promotional materials.
p.s. it is not OK to point to a list of "supported functions", since I don't know the product well enough that would be a cop-out.
Somewhere it should say "LIMITED FUNCTIONALITY" or equivalent, large letters.

Just blinking some LEDs is not what I paid for.

I did not know what I was really looking for. The CAL_UART code will do just fine. I can write the supporting buffer code.
It still seems uncool, however that some of this cool functionality is excluded.
I'm just sayin.

Hello,

Sorry you were not expecting this, we have tried to make things obvious but clearly we can still do more.

On the Flowcode purchase page is a table that shows the features included in the different versions, section 3 details components.

http://www.matrixtsl.com/flowcode/buy/

In the Flowcode datasheet we then list all the components individually and each Pro only component has a * next to it.

We are discussing re-thinking licensing for v7 so hopefully we can start to avoid these types of issues and also make it more obvious in the components panel on what you do and do not have access to.
