I'm using the pic18f2423 with the internal clock of 8mhz.
With the compiler free:
1-Will I be working with the frequency of 8 mhz?
2-Will my code size be the same?
3-If I enable PLL x 4 will I be working with a clock frequency of 32 mhz?
4-To enable the PLL x 4 what commands in c should I add?
5-What is the XC8 version that flowcode uses?
6-Someone could help me how to enable pll x4 in the attached code?
Grateful;
Ricardo.

The compiler has got nothing to do with the micro controller speed you are working with the compiler will work with any selected Clock speedRLOPES780 wrote: With the compiler free:

yesIf I enable PLL x 4 will I be working with a clock frequency of 32 mhz?
Set the PLL enable bit in the OSCCON register with a C component4-To enable the PLL x 4 what commands in c should I add?
I do not have such a device to test my settings , however I tried to set the clock speed Internal OSC with PLL enable = 32MHZ for you in your Flowchart try it
good luck and just in my opinion if you are not doing very high level and speed critical application you probably will never need any thing more than the Free compilers and if you do such time critical stuff then may be it is better to use assembler than a compile The free compiler is a very good compiler and do not let the message you can get 60% speed improvement mislead you ,as that statement depends on many factors
