- Delta V advice please

Post by Steve001 »

Morning All,

Inherited a project at work and am in need of some advice please.

Looking at a charging system for industrial nicad batteries (10 Ah - 1450 Ah ) the battery manufacture less than help full wants to sell me there charging system witch has all the bell and whistles but nothing that we are wanting.

looking at the technical manual they are asking for - delta v charging characteristics. can someone please explane what this is please as i haven't got a clue.
Google not bringing much up only about rocket fuel and thrust/change in velocity.

our charger board is C/V & C/C controlled and i have access to these control points.

I know that you charge these things in CC then back off to CV when at a set point

Check http://www.mpoweruk.com/chargers.htm. Search the page for NDV.
