Hi.
I am new to ethernet based projects.
We are working on a project where sensors talk to a central hub and send the details to a website api.
The web guys have advised that when selecting an ethernet controller i make sure it can support HTTPS due to the security that they will be implementing.
Hopefully this will make sense and someone can advise.
I am still learning about this stuff so if my question sounds stupid i apologise

Re: Enc28j60 HTTPS??
Hello,
HTTPS on an embedded system is tricky at best. It's not something I've ever been involved with so can't really advise.
It might turn out to be easier to use somthing like a Raspberry Pi or Orange Pip as this will come with a lot more processing power and ability to utilise and store large libraries for dealing with HTTPS. Also as Linux is the backbone of the internet it is likely to be pretty secure. None of this Windows server rubbish
