solving tmr0 related issues

Post by kokoeike »

Dear All,

I developed interest with this graphical programming software and i have since been brushing up my skills. well, i am currently working on a POWER MANAGEMENT SOLUTION; that will switch OFF and ON Air Conditioning units intermittently. the switching is time based (user settable).

my challenge: the code repeats the first switch loop on start-up and afterwards retains normalcy, but repeats this same issue after about 4 to 5 swiches. i need some help understanding where the problem is??? is it tmr0 related or designation related???

thank you.

Please can you attach your program file so we can see what you're doing and can you explain what the issue is?

Hello,

You have posted a topic in the Flowcode 7 forum but the file you posted is Flowcode 5 or previous. Please can you tell us which version of Flowcode you're using.

Also please can you explain what the problem is you're having?

Does the same problem happen in simulation?

i am using flowcode5 and haven't upgraded to a 7 yet.

the problem i experience doesn't surface while simulating via the software but is only noticeable on the hardware simulation.

the "SWITCH=1" loop repeats twice after the first timer expiration "Runtime".
now, the code is meant to enter SWITCH=1 loop on startup and after the "RUNNTIME" expiration, it should go into the second loop SWITCH=2 intermittently. i am using tmr0 for the timing at 1:64, 4Mhz.

the "SET" and "MODE" buttons are used to set default and new values for the timing.
the "MANUAL" and the "AUTO" buttons are used to enter AUTO MODE "WERE THE CONTROLLER DOES THE SWITCHING" and MANUAL MODE "were the controllers functionality is bypassed".
