When will there be a free version of V5 so that you can try before you buy.

Hi Wayne. We are currently putting patches in to prepare a v5.1, sorting any issues Users have had on the v5 initial release. This patch is just waiting tests to confirm it is stable and will be used as a base for the free version which is otherwise ready.

Certainly in the next week, and maybe as soon as today!
