Set SW Clock via rs232

Post by goingo »

good evening
using:
flowcode 4.5.18
EB006 Development Board
PIC 16F876A
LCD Board

i would like to set a sw clock via rs232 but i have no idea how to make a concept for this task
first i took the example from flowcode called digital clock
my idea was to send a string like 12:30 via hyperterminal
then took the 1 for hours _tens the 2 for hours_one the 3 for minutes_tens and the 0 for minutes_one then restarting the clock with these values
is this possible? and how? or is there a better solution?- i would be very happy if anyone could give me a little support

thanx goingo

Hello,

Here is a quick untested example which should be something along the lines of what you require.
