eeprom and delays

Post by brandonb »

if writing eeprom to multiple locations, should there be delays between the writes or is that already taken care of in the eeprom macro? it works on hardware with out using any delays, was curious about it

Hello Brandon,

No I don't think delays should be necessary, I seem to remember there is a loop in the EEPROM code that waits for the data to go in correctly and once this has happened you are free to load in the next byte without having to wait.

Hi,
Yes I am agree with Ben 100%. I always write multiple locations without delay and never face any problem because of pooling as mentioned by Ben.
