Reinstall FC5.5!

Hi MM team!

Maybe crazy question

I have installed a new hard drive on my PC and OS Win. 7 The first I ofcourse then install is FC. 5.5. (must be there) after install, it asks for the key, put in, all ok and FC says ok. Then, the key has to be activated, but my PC was still not online to the internet, so I could not activate FC. so far so good. I got the machine online and immediately the key was valid and ok and work perfect. I understand that FC controls at MM for verification. Now I think, what if MM one day suddenly does not exist anymore (hopefully never, but never know these days), although I think it is for many more years. But if MM for some reason no longer exists, all users will not be able to reinstall FC again . Just a thought, I plan to use FC rest of my life (I am wery satisfy with FC). But Is this just the conditions.

Hello Jorgen,

There is an offline activation method, but you have a good point, Ill mention it, i guess the simplest solution if we go under for whatever reason is to email out the offline codes and activation methods to users.

Thank´s for answer. Hope you will do that (send out an activationcode), if it should happend, "you go down" otherwise it´s not god for us.
