fc v6 pic error code 255

hi all.
I Purchased FC v6 for PIC, my OS is WIN8.1 (64 bit).
When I try to compile to hex appears this message:

I've tried several chips and the result is the same.
I reinstalled the program and no changes

Hello Conrad,

Thanks for letting us know, we have had a couple of these reports but they are fairly few and far between so seem to be based on specific system setups. We are investigating.

Might be worth uninstalling, deleting the Flowcode directory from the Programs Files folder and also deleting the registry hive "HKEY_Current_User/Software/MatrixMM/FlowCodeV6" using RegEdit before reinstalling.

Out of interest are you using any specific system maintenance programs, firewalls or anti virus? If so what are they so we can investigate?

Hi Kon

Have a look in the avast virus vault, as on my laptop it stopped compiling, because avast was trying to be clever. if its in there click on restore and add to exeptions(something like that)

hi all

when I will finally enable AVAST reproduces the error permanently, disable AVAST but the error continues. Avast seems to shoulder the register of FC v6. I delete again the register and reinstall .
The solution, as I said Dazz, AVAST has been configured to exclude all FC v6 before install FC v6.
