Ili9143 Bitmap!

Hi all!

I am playing with the display Ili9143 in FC7 with an Arduino Mega. Making a GPS clock in combination with a SHT21, temp and humidity sensor, I share later. Working perfect.

Does anybody know, is it possible to create or/and add bitmap picture like here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ER1fbDoc20 in my program inFC7 or something similar in FC7?.

It sure is, simply add the Bitmap drawer component, point it at your gLCD and assign a bitmap file to the component. Currently only works with monochrome or 24-bit colour bitmaps. Monochrome will take up less ROM on your device. 8-bit bitmaps are on my to do list but not currently supported.

Do you need the ability to change colour like in the video? We could maybe do this with monochrome bitmaps and replace black with a different colour on colour displays?

Thanks for the bad link spot.

The bitmap drawer component will currently only work with monochrome or 24-bit colour bitmaps. Either type can be used with the ILI9143 display. You can simulate the component so you can see if it's going to work before compiling.
