Dear sir,
My problem is the following. Each time I try to upload a program to the Formula Flowcode (FF), I get the error message Β« USB Cable not connected Β».
My situation is the following.
* I am running Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3.
* I am administrator on my PC.
* I connected the USB cable between my PC and FF; this cable works fine with my printer, so I guess the cable is OK ; the green LED RE2 is on when I plug the cable; the red leds 0 and 1 are flashing when the FF power is on;
* I downloaded the latest version of the drivers from your website ; my system installed the driver fine and told me that the formula Flowcode Buggy is installed and is ready to use.
* If I go in Β« Control Panel > System > Hardware > Devices Β» I can see a device Β« Formula Flowcode Buggy Β» in the category Β« Custom USB Device Β».
I tried using Flowcode or PPP to upload the program into FF and I get the same error message.
What am I doing wrong ? My next two classes are Wednesday 28/1 and Saturday 30/1. I would very much appreciate a response before then.
Is there any possibility to call your hotline ?
Thanks in advance.

Re: USB Cable not connected
Hello
Sounds like you are selecting the chip as the target rather then the Formula Flowcode. To confirm this run Flowcode and click on the chip -> target menu. The target selected should be "Formula Flowcode Buggy" and not "18F4455"
As for programming stand alone. You must use the BuggyProg.exe programmer from the Matrix Multimedia/Flowcode V3 folder rather then the PPP software.
