Hello, I dont know what's happening with my LCd board but it doesnt work correctly. i use the component for LCD, i start it, clear it, put the cursor in 0,0 and use component for LCDDisplay(0) PrintString ("Hello welcome") but in the LCD it only writes [Hello wel####]. i don't know why. What is the voltage which i should use to LCD board from EB006 5v or 14v?
thanks.
Regard,
Diego.

Re: EB005 LCD board.
Looking at the circuit of LCD Board, it should only run at 5V. My LCD does.
Sounds like a timing issue to me. Are you using external crystal osc. Is flowcode osc setting same as your hardware settings?
Is config correctly set for type of osc you are using?
What is your microcontroller and type of osc and its frequency? perhaps post your example and will look at the settings.

Hello
Sounds like it could be a faulty board if the display is working and then not working half way through a string. Please can you attach your program to the forum for confirmation. Also if you put your LCD write string function into a while loop with a second delay then do the same characters on the display stay corrupted or does the corruption move around on the display.

hi, well it was running at 14v... but still continue with problems, if you check flowcode file the LCD componnets between comment doesnt work. I dont know why.

Re: EB005 LCD board.
Hello
There is no delay in your program in the places you pointed out. It is likely that the microcontroller is going through the component macros as fast as possible and then hitting the clear display causing it to appear like the display is not responding.
You should connect the LCD to the +5V. Connecting it to the +14V will damage the display.
