Sitronix ST7036 lcd controller

Hi,

I've been trying to get a 'standard' lcd from Electronic Assembly working on Flowcode. The device is called DOG (what's in a name; display-on-glas) and they use a Sitronix controller ST7036 that *should* be compatible with the Hitachi 44780-type standard controllers most other lcd types use, including the 4-bit interface which I'm using.
The DOG doesn't show any reaction in my app while another lcd works flawlessly so it's difficult to find out what's wrong.
I was wondering if anyone here has used this display type sucessfully?
