I've got this habit of using rather long variable names in my Flowcode projects.
Is this an issue for the program that is send to the PIC?
Will this habit use more memory space in the PIC or is the variable name converted in a smaller one with which the PIC works with?
Thanks

Re: Lenght variable names
Hello,
The variable name is simply a human tag that references the correct memory location for your variable or indeed for a control register. In answer to your question, having long variable names will not effect the memory size of your program and are even seen as good coding practice if they are descriptive enough.
