Hi guys
Can any one help i keep getting this error message when i try to write to the chip but the program works when i simulate it?????
i have no clue where to start looking for the error have been through all the string manipulation boxes and they all look rite please help.

G:\Flowcode Stuuff\Latest program\Entry pannel V4 .4.3.c(3405:34): error: arguments of 'FCI_STRING_TO_INT' don't match the parameters of call
G:\Flowcode Stuuff\Latest program\Entry pannel V4 .4.3.c(3405:17): error: failed to generate expression
G:\Flowcode Stuuff\Latest program\Entry pannel V4 .4.3.c(3405:17): error: invalid operand 'FCI_STRING_TO_INT(FCV_TEMP1,0)'

Hello,

The problem is being caused by an incorrect call of the string to int function. If you look at your output C file you can go down to line 3405 and see where about's in your program is causing the error. Alternatively post up your Flowchart and I will take a look for you.

Hi guys
Having a problem my program runs like a dream in simulation and in VNet everything is talking to each other but when I download the programs they don't seem to work.
I put an led in the routine just to see if things are talking and they do. I have a 100ms delay on and off but this is flashing about every second have no clue why??? When i program the chip i get this message

"Caution: Delay inaccurrate: 'delay_ms', Delay overhead:0ms, Unit delay:1.00016ms, Delay resolution:1 units"

Could this be the source of my problem if so how do i fix it????

Brian

Hello Brian,

The number 1 reason that your program does not work on the hardware as expected is if either the Flowcode clock speed setting is incorrect for your oscillator speed or the Flowcode chip configuration settings are incorrect.

When the delays in Flowcode are running correctly on your hardware eg 1 second is actually 1 second then you know you have these settings correct.

Thanks Ben

Found the problem it was the oscillator settings. Another quick question what i am trying to do is from the master unit setup the slave then read back the slave units data while still in the set up routine. Is there any examples on how to send data then wait till red when red send something to say ready for the next bite
