Re: RFControl-example
Hi Wolfgang
Ive been trying to get the RF board custom macro to work myself.
Looking at what you are seeing i.e
Funct 1
Funct 2 ect
You have not copied the custom.c file from the RF block testfiles to flowcode
Goto the components folder located within flowcode4 main folder.
Important Make a copy of the original file PIC_Custom.C
Then copy the PIC_custom.c file from the RF Board test files folder to the flowcode components folder.
Using the Custom1 icon from the Misc list
if you open a macro as normal, you will see the following
These are the functions I have in the macro
Not got much further than this point myself
REMEMBER to copy the original pic_custom.c file somewhere safe. Then it can be replaced when you have finished with the rf macro if needed.
Hope this helps, it works for me.
On my system win7 64bit the folder is C:\program files(x86)\matrix multimedia\flowcode v4\components
Think on a 32 bit system it will be c:\program file\....

Re: RFControl-example
Hi Wolfgang
I have seen the dsPIC version of FC has the full macro for the RF boards aswell . Not got the hardware for thoses yet, though It is on the list along with the dspic FC.
Hopefully the update to the pic version wont be much longer to add these features to it.
Ive also got the 433 MHz version of the RF board(others are 868 & 915). I bought that version because it falls in the 70cm amateur band, which gives me scope to to do more than on the other 2 frequencies.
I have thoughts of being able to connect it to my transceiver, remote control over long distances. Although need to sort the basics first and get something simple working on the bench.

Re: RFControl-example
Hello John
Have you a simple transmit and recife example for the RF board eb-063 (not the RFID)?
The pic-type is in the moment not important, because i want test my board`s in reality.

Re: RFControl-example
Hi Wolfgang
Sorry, don't have anything Ive done myself yet, not had chance to do anything with this board, have other projects at the moment.
Best example I can suggest is Matrix's factory test programs. One to set up a master transmitter and one as a test receiver.
These work and are fairly simple.
