Graphical LCD in Flowcode v4

Post by billduck »

I want to do a project with a graphical LCD and a AVR processor(AVR-AU from Bipom.com). I note that on the External Properties panel for the LCD, that 3 radio buttons refer to the EB043,EB043 v2 and EB057. Since I am not using E-Blocks, can I pursue this? Or are only E-Blocks supported?
Thanks in advance, Bill S
PS many thanks!

Hello,

What graphical LCD did you have in mind?

I have not given that any investigation. Something on the order of 1" x 2". To be quite frank, I do not know where to start. I note that 4 bits are required.
Thanks

Hello,

You could use the EB057 module. This is compatible with the Flowcode component and also non E-blocks. Alternatively you could get the EB058 E-block gLCD board and use the patch system to insert the signals from your uC system. I think we do have more gLCDs on the way but this may be a while off at the moment.
