input and output on same port pin

Hi, I'm trying to use the same port pin as a digital in and out. however as soon as I set the port to give an output it resets back to an input on the next instruction, do I need to use soms ASM code to reset the pin to an output for a duration , then use ASM again to reset to an input?
if so can you please give me a sample to follow or point me to the right place in the forums.

Hi,

Could you attach your .fcf and .c files ?
You don't need ASM to do that, using the input and output icons in flowcode should do the trick.
