Hi,
I am using the Tapatalk app on iOS to read posts on various forums, and I would like to read the Flowcode forum in this app.
The instructions on how to install it can be found below:
https://www.tapatalk.com/download_phpbb
Are the admins of the Matrix TSL forum interested in this application?
Regards,
Andreas

I've never heard of that app. It needs a 3rd party plugin to be installed on our website and I've seen reports of it not working with the later versions of this forum.
What advantages does this plugin give you that you do not get from viewing it directly in a browser?

Hi Steve,
Basically, this app helps me:
- monitor multiple forums;
- get a notification in the app as an icon when someone responds to my message;
- reformat the frontend of the phpBB into an iOS/Android screen format.
It's not that I cannot survive without these features, but I was thinking this might be an improvement to your existing database of forum users.

Re: TapaTalk plugin for phpBB to read the Flowcode Forum on iOS/Android
Thanks for the info.
I've read a little more about this and it seems to various problems for forum admins. It is an unverified extension that has failed validation processes and opens up various security issues, so we're not going to add this at the moment.
For info, here are some of the threads containing concerns of the developers of the forum software we use:

Good choice - it is not worth exposing the forum to security risks just because of this extension, especially if there are issues with it.
If others have complained in the past about support and their business model, it looks like this was/is a real problem...
Thank you for looking into this, Steve!
