Hi
I have Flowcode v4 which work with my EB0064 and EB0006 programming boards on my windows 7 computer. I have now migrated to a new computer with windows 11 however I cannot get flowcode 4 to recognise any of the two programming boards. I also purchased Flowcode v9 and want to continue using my old programming boards but here I get the same problem in that it does not recognise the two programming boards.
Any help will be appreciated.

Re: Old programming boards not recognised by flowcode v4 and v9
Hi
FC9 works fine with my EB006 on W7/8.1 so I'm guessing it may be a driver issue rather than FC itself. Website apparently only provides drivers for EB2 boards.
I assume you still have the original USB drivers for the boards? If not I probably have a copy (if I'm allowed to share) but you might need install as a legacy product in W10/11.
Regards

Hi
I agree it might be a driver issue. How could I get a driver from you. I have installed ppp3 (think that is the usb driver)

Hi
PPP is what actually programs the chip, and was superseded by mLoader from V7 (I think).
The drivers are only a few MB in size and can easily be emailed, however I would need someone in Matrix to OK first as I'm unsure if I am allowed to distribute. If you have the v4 CD they should be on that.
I'm quite sure someone from Matrix will jump in soon to advise.

Hi
I spoke to Alfie Dobson from flowcode trying to get some help. Alfie referred me to the forum. I don't mind waiting for someone from matrix and flowcode to respond.
Thanks so far for the help

Hi
Thank you guys so much for the help. I do have a pickit 2 programmer and will use that.
Regarding mloader, I have no clue how to use it. Is there an explanation online to get me going?

Hi,
Mloader is matrix own programming software, more information can be found on the flowcode wiki
https://www.flowcode.co.uk/wiki/index.p ... nt_Changes
Steve
:Edit
If using a pickit 2 - be aware of your target devices V9 may have devices that the pickit2 cannot program

Hello,
EB006 and EB064 USB drivers are available from here. MatrixTSL.com -> Support -> Resource Center
https://www.matrixtsl.com/resources/
Just type in the code of the board and the USB drivers should appear along with other things such as mLoader and datasheets etc.
EB006
