CANopen

Post by SpeedPIC32 »

Hello together
I would like to read a NOX sensor from Continental.
This works with the CANopen protocol.
I would like to use an ESP32-Wroom-32D chip for this.
For the coupling there are ready MCP2515 Can Bus controller shield board module For arduino. or a PIC32MZ.
It would be nice if it could work.

With kind regards

Hello,

CAN Open is quite involved, we've looked at it before and there is a fair amount of work to allow the stack to function. I've made a note to have another investigation into it as it certainly would be nice to have.

Hello Ben,

what about the Can-Bus?
I can provide you with everything.
E.g. a Can-Bus shield from Sparkfun.
A NOX sensor with description from Continental.
All pre-wired with power supply.
What do you think of that?
I would like to be able to read out the sensor data, the NOX value and the oxygen content.

With best regards
