ESP32-PICO-DevKitM-2

Post by Frco007 »

Hello

I tryed to program ESP32-PICO (36pin) but without success.
Can someone tell me exactly which ESP32 I should use and where to get it so that it will really work?
I would like to play with Bluetooth communication ESP32 - PC, ESP32 - mobile phone.

Thanks for the replies in advance.

Hi

If you go to New Project >Choose a Target >ESP you will see a list of supported devices.

However be aware that not all ESP's are equal. I bought a couple from a well know cheap source and coverage was terrible. Barely able to connect LoS of a few metres. I bought a couple of these and they worked fine https://hobbycomponents.com/other-dev-b ... ment-board.

Hello Igor,

The ESP32-PICO seems to be a new flavour of the ESP32 IC, in fact I had not come across this one so thanks for making us aware of it.

I'm afraid we don't currently support anything but the original ESP32 device. We are looking at adding support for the newer devices but I can't promise anything will happen soon. I'll see if I can get hold of one so we have one to play with when the time comes.
