Free Arduino Mega 2560. Why not?

I was thinking about the use of Arduinos nowadays. I usually use STM32, because they are cheaper and more competitive. However, I see that two very famous Arduino models are the Arduino Uno and Arduino Mega.
I know that FlowCode now offers free support for the Arduino Uno, but the Arduino Mega is still paid.
Moving from the Arduino Uno to the Arduino Mega could represent a great step forward for self-taught Arduino enthusiasts.
I believe that some people like me want to program the Arduino Mega 2560, but are not willing to pay for the Arduino package to be able to try only this model.
So I thought: what if there was some incentive regarding the Arduino Mega? That would be great!
I know that offering the Arduino Mega 2560 package may not be feasible, but perhaps it is possible to offer a discount for those who want to try only the 2560. In my opinion, a package with a reduced price for using only the Arduino Mega could attract some people to use it.
