Hi,
I don't know if it is just me but a couple of times I have tried to reply to a post using Win 7 and nothing happens. It has also happened today using Android phone. In that instace, I logged in and posted a reply, when I hit submit it asked me to login. I did that and all I got was a blank box for the text entry which I had previously entered my post?
Regards,
Bob

Hi
I see the same at times and think that happens if for some reason you are logged out, or your IP address changes.
Not just tied to W7 or androids.

Is that something that has started happening fairly recently - i.e. in the past few months? I did make a small change on these forums to alleviate some web attacks we experience from time to time. I will revert that to see if that helps.

I've had a look and the change I made only affected guest users of the forum.
If that happens again, you might be able to preserve your post text by pressing the browser's back button instead of logging back on, then copying the text to notepad before logging in again.

Re: Is there an issue replying to posts (Windows 7)
Hi
It doesn't happen often enough to be a real problem for me, and affected PMs too. I put it down to my IP changing as I was on networks outwith my control. If a lengthy reply I would ctrl-a/ctrl-c before hitting send just in case.
It did seem to start around the time the forum was unavailable for short periods, but as I said it isn't often enough to be an issue for me.
