Discrepancy in the PICO Toolchain Install Flowcode Help File

Post by canary_wharfe »

There is a confusing discrepancy in the PICO Toolchain Install Flowcode Help File.
In the section re. installing MS VS Build Tools the document states:

"You must install the full "Windows 10 SDK" package and leave the path as the default value"

However, over on the right in the Install example picture - Installation details / Optional
Windows 11 SDK (10.0.22000.0) has a check mark in the check box but the option lower down
Windows 10 SDK (10.0.20348.0) does not have a check mark in the box. So which is correct?
Is it the Windows 11 or 10 SDK option that needs the check box on a Windows 10 system?
Logic would lead you to believe it should be the Windows 10 SDK but the document example
graphic with the green outline box around the checked options clearly shows Windows 11 SDK.

Even if installing on a Windows 10 system, I would suggest using the Windows 11 SDK as it will likely contain anything relevant in the Windows 10 SDK.
