Please bring back a newsletter!

Post by MJU20 »

I have been working with Flowcode for a very long time and I used to visit the forum every single day.

But these days, creating code has become incredibly easy with AI - sorry for bringing that up.
In the past, I sometimes spent a huge amount of time on projects, only to discover that a certain chip feature was not yet supported in Flowcode. Those projects would end up being put on hold, and gradually I started generating Arduino code with AI instead. Surprisingly, this works very well.

One example I had been waiting for for a long time was BLE support on the ESP32. Recently, I happened to visit the Matrix forum again (which I rarely do these days because AI now generates most of my code), and to my surprise I discovered that FC11 now includes a BLE component.

If I had not accidentally checked the forum, I would never have known about it.

So please, Matrix: send out a newsletter from time to time about upcoming features or things already available in beta form. Promote your developments, because at least in my case, my attention is slowly drifting away from your product.

Release a monthly newsletter with the latest developments, because digging deeply through forums is simply not the way to discover new features anymore — especially when tools like Claude or Gemini can generate solutions so easily.

Thanks for the comments. I'll pass them on and try to get a regular newsletter back up and running.
