If you bare with, I'm modifying the DS18B20 so it should work the same as Arduino ide version.
Hopefully then you can use it for P and non P types.
You OK testing the modified component when I have finished it?
BTW the demo version on the Wiki should work for not P versions until used with modified component.

Yes, of course! I’d be happy to test it if you make a new component, definitely. It would be great if all the different types worked. I’d better go and collect all the P models from the trash bin again, then!

Re: DC18B20 No temperature
Can you let me know the exact name of the DS18B20 library and who is by and attach the ino sketch you used.
If it does not attach then just rename the extension to .txt or zip it up.
Reason being I don't have P version so need to use a normal version in parasitic mode.
I need to test it works with the sketch you used to make sure it works in that mode.

Re: DC18B20 No temperature
Unfortunately the sensors I have don't work in parasitic mode as they are not genuine.
Therefore I'm unable to test the modified component.
Browse to this location using File Explorer, it's hidden by default so just paste the link into your address bar.
Replace the original files with the attached versions.
If Flowcode is already open, then you will need to reload your project.
If you run any component updates, then the fcdx you added will be overwritten.

Re: DC18B20 No temperature
Hi Martin!
Loking at your path I would take a backup of the old file but cant find the old file in this Lib: %ProgramData%\MatrixTSL\FlowcodeV11\FCD\PIC\ Before I copy the file into this path, is that the correct path?
Maybe I am wrong, normally it is this: c:\ProgramData\MatrixTSL\FlowcodeV11\Components

Re: DC18B20 No temperature
hi Jorgen.
Sorry was a bit tired.
I have corrected the link. is the path
We use %ProgramData% as PC's set to a different language could have a different path so that will always work.

You are correct with what you stated

Re: DC18B20 No temperature
Martin, you are a genius! It works perfectly, both with and without parasite mode, your long night has definitely not been wasted!
If you can, perhaps Ben or Steve could push the new component macro for DS18B20 and One_Wire to update, I guess they won’t have any effect on the other One_Wire functions.
I’m glad I didn’t throw all the other P models away after all!
Thanks again for your help, Martin!
