can you add an LoRa SX1278 module?

Post here to discuss any new features, components, chips, etc, that you would like to see in Flowcode.

Hi

I remember the E32 project MJU20 did. Plenty of info posted. Following on from MJU20, my "goto" is RF Solutions for pretty much anything RF and they offer modules (as others do) that are pretty much "plug-and-play". You can achieve in excess of 10Km with very little in the way of config, communicating either by UART(RS232) or simply by pin status.

Totally agree with Kersing regarding the unrealistic prospect of one component working for all LoRa modules out there. Simply too many with each doing things their own way to even dream of a one-size-fits-all. As Kersing also informs, documentation for many modules is sadly lacking, but if you get stuck using one, the forum usually can help as chances are someone figured it out (enough) to help.

I have a few projects that use 'long-range-ish' datatransfer.

Not like a few Km's, but for my purpose enough range and reliable.

One I use is E32-868T20D (read about it on the V9 forum), the other one is a HC12 module.
Both are sufficient for my purposes.
Just to send data from one node to each other.

I think that I shared the project with the E32... on the old forum.
There are successor for this LORA-like module. I think that the E32 900t30d is compatible with the E32...20D
Thank you for your answer. You have information about the e32 modules you mentioned. What I want to say is that flowocode supports lorawan modules more.

Hi

It would be nice if FC provided support for LoRaWAN and as Kersing kindly informs, such a component is in development.

Here you can read about my project with the "E32-868T20D SX1276 868MHz 100mW DIP Wireless Module"

There is an excellent Chinese book about LoRa, which is a rare resource on LoRa. I recommend it to the engineers at Matrix Multimedia Limited, hoping to see the new LoRa module in Flowcode soon.

Keep in mind Lora is not LoRaWAN and however excellent the book, supporting multiple chipsets is still a lot of work that is not necessarily worth the trouble.
The good news regarding LoRaWAN is that a component for EU868 frequencies should be available soon. (A couple of months)
