Hi there,
When I want to make any project, I sellect a PIC controller on the number of pins that I need.
Regulary, after testing the FC program in simulation, the PIC is not programmable with the Eblocks programmers.
So, what would be very helpfull is a list of compatible PIC's for the Eblocks and Eblocks2 programmer.
Is a list available of PIC controllers that can be used with Eblocks EB006?
The programmer uses the Mloader software. This includes a Excel sheet 8bConfigData.csv with settings.
Is a list available of PIC controllers that can be used with Eblocks2 BL0080?
I'm not sure if this programmer also uses Mloader or any other driver software.
Please let me know.
Rinie

Re: Compatibility of Eblocks
Hi
This link takes you to a page documenting what targets (chips) Flowcode can be used to program
https://www.flowcode.co.uk/embedded/targets/
With regards to the multi-programmers, they unfortunately cannot cover every chip, but details of the EB006-30-v9 is attached
From I think FC v7 onward, mLoader is the software used with the multi-programmers and is used in V10.
I've had a quick look but don't see the details of the BL0080 targets. If I find a link I'll post.
Regards

Re: Compatibility of Eblocks
Hello Chipfreyer,
Thanks for your reply.
The list with PIC's that are compattible with the EB006 programmer is very helpfull.
I also have several EB006 programmers, one is V9.
I have tried to use this V9 version and mloader on the PIC16F18857.
This PIC is shown in the Mloader software but still doesn't work.
When I use the PICKIT3 connected to the EB006, I can program the HEX file.
So, one step further.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Compatibility of Eblocks
Hello.
I can confirm that the EB006 cannot use mLoader to program newer target devices, such as the 16F188x7 range, due to changes in the programming mechanism. Only the EB2 boards support these devices.
Using the PICkit or other programmers is the only method for programming the newer devices on the EB006.
