Locktronics MicroECU - firmware

Page 59 of the Locktronics Curriculum CP8408 (Automotive ECU Architechure and Logic) mentions that the program in the MicroECU LK8886 can be changed using Mloader. If I want to restore the original firmware, I require at least the hex file (Automotive PIC ECU Firmware.hex ?).

Where do I download this file from the Matrix website?

Is the Automotive Solution LK4221-2 with the PICmicro LK4690L still available, or has it been replaced by the LK1800 solution with the MicroECU LK8886?

The LK4221-2 and the LK4690L are now both discontinued and I don’t believe they have a direct replacement.

The LK1800 is almost a separate and different kit … but the LK1800 is available.
